Here’s an overview of Christmas happenings at NewChurch LIVE this season. All events are open, so please feel free to invite a friend! Connect with us for details.
November 18th-December 13th
NewChurch LIVE will be adopting a family through an organization called “The Village” (https://village1877.org). The mission of The Village is to promote the healing of the spirits of children, families and communities broken by trauma including violence, neglect, addiction, poverty, mental illness, racism and other serious societal problems. People can select wish list items from the Christmas tree at church on Sunday or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Items are due by December 14th and can be dropped off at church or at the NewChurch LIVE offices (2790 Huntingdon Pike, Bryn Athyn, PA 19009)
On December 2nd, NewChurch LIVE will welcome Michael Kellerman from The Village who will be speaking about the organization, it’s mission, and how support like adopting families for the holidays makes an impact. This will take place during our regular church service 10:30am at The Mitchell Center (800 Tomlinson Rd., Bryn Athyn)
November 29th @7:00-8:30 pm
NewChurch LIVE hosts this holiday event as a way of welcoming families who are new to the community. The event is held at the beautifully decorated Cairnwood Estate (1005 Cathedral Rd., Bryn Athyn) and is open to anyone new to NewChurch LIVE. Co-hosted with The Academy of the NewChurch and Bryn Athyn Church and School this event is a wonderful way to get into the holiday spirit. There is time for socializing, refreshments, and a program given by Pastor Chuck on the true meaning of Christmas. For questions or to RSVP email email@example.com.
December 2nd @9:00-10:15 am
Join us for a men’s prayer breakfast before the Sunday Service. Located at the NewChurch LIVE office (2790 Huntingdon Pike, Bryn Athyn.) This is a simple opportunity for men to connect with one another and get to know others who attend NewChurch LIVE.
December 2nd, 9th, and 16th @10:30 am
Join us for the 5th annual KidsLIVE Christmas workshop. KidsLIVE is our children’s program that happens while the adult service is taking place, located in the lobby as you walk in.
During the Christmas workshop, children will have an opportunity to create quality, hand made gifts for the special people in their lives. Once finished, they will wrap their gifts and top it with a card. One stop shopping. At KidsLIVE, we LOVE the spirit of giving, and we can’t wait to share it with your children.
All are welcome, even last minute. We make sure to have plenty of supplies for anyone who wishes to join.
December 23rd @10:30 am
Join us for communion offered during the regular church service time. This special service is to help everyone prepare for Christmas Day. All are welcome to optionally participate in Holy Communion no matter their personal religious affiliation.
Please note that there will be no KidsLIVE program offered during this service.
