NewChurch LIVE is working our way back

We are thrilled to be able to gather again in person. But we are approaching this opportunity with appropriate reserve, and encouraging each individual member of our congregation to do what they feel is in the best interest of their personal safety and that of their families.

Limited in-person gatherings resume on Sunday June 28.

Members and friends of the NCL family are invited to join us in person for services at MPAC, beginning on Sunday, June 28, provided that we all observe the guidelines based on requirements set forth by the Center for Disease Control, including the following. Even if you are less concerned than others about your own safety, the precautions you take will ensure the comfort of those around you, and will demonstrate a respect and sensitivity to their own sense of safety.

Do NOT attend services or gatherings of any kind if…

  • you are, or suspect that you may be, sick
  • you have recently been exposed to COVID-19
  • you have personal health situation which makes the risk of COVID-19 exposure more dangerous to you

Wash your hands with soap and warm water frequently, including before before leaving your home.

Use the hand sanitizer provided at the front entrance prior to entering the MPAC for services

Maintain appropriate social distancing based on CDC guidelines during your visit, maintaining at least 6ft distance from one another at all times, except within family units. If someone you are visiting with, or in close proximity to, seems uncomfortable, increase your distance. And if you are feeling uncomfortable, please feel free to ask that others do the same for you.

Sit yourself or your family group at least 3 chairs and one empty row apart from other individuals/groups as appropriate to ensure 6 ft of distancing. Family and similar units may sit as groups provided that this spacing is maintained from others.

When entering the theater, fill from the back to the front, and upon exiting will leave from the back to the front as well, again with social distancing. This will make it easier for people to control appropriate seating distances.

Wear a face mask at all times while at MPAC (except for children under 2 years of age), including in bathrooms. Staff and volunteers are also required to wear face masks and will receive temperature checks before reporting to work.

These guidelines lines are subject to change due to government guidelines or staff experience as we all navigate this difficult situation. Our primary concern as always remains your safety and the safety of those around you. For this reason, we will base our policies not on what we are able to do, but what we feel we need to do to ensure that everyone feels safe and has a positive NCL experience.

No KidsLIVE or baby room service until further notice. Virtual KidsLIVE services will be offered until we are able to offer in-person children’s services.

No indoor gathering in the lobby before/after services. Please enter the theater area directly. You may visit outside while maintaining 6ft distance from one another. Masks are encouraged outside. No coffee or refreshments will be provided at this time.

MPAC will be cleaned thoroughly in between church services. All equipment will be wiped clean at the both the beginning and end of each service.

For those who are unable or not yet ready to meet in person, we are very happy to have you join us remotely at
