Hear ye, hear ye, noble Volunteers and Friends of the Ronald McDonald House!
The Philadelphia Renaissance Faire is seeking helping hands to bring their magical event to life—and in exchange, they’ll make a donation to RMHC Philly for every volunteer who joins the quest!

Available Shifts:
Wednesday, May 21 – Tuesday, May 28 (including Memorial Day weekend)
Shift times vary (scroll down to the end of this email for details)
Volunteer Roles:
- Help build the faire (set-up crew)
- Assist with parking or event operations
- Break down the faire (tear-down crew)
The Perks:
Each 5-hour shift earns a $50 donation to RMHC Philly
Costumes welcome (but not required!)
Free food while you volunteer
Complimentary ticket to return and enjoy the faire as a guest

Shifts:
Wednesday 5/21 – Build the Faire
Shift Time: 2pm-7pm
5 volunteers needed
Unload faire supplies from the truck, drag items to their location. Some lifting.
Thursday 5/22 – Build the Faire
Shift Times: 10am-3pm OR 2pm-7pm
8 to 10 volunteers needed
Set up large tents at all stages and put up fencing. If you can use Powertools, that’s a plus!
Friday 5/23 – Build the Faire
Shift Times: 10am-3pm OR 2pm-7pm
8 to 10 volunteers needed
Set up smaller tents and archery range. Set up tables, chairs and decorations.
Saturday 5/24, Sunday 5/25 or Memorial Day Monday 5/26 — Work in Parking or Operations
Shift Times: 9am-2pm OR 2pm-7pm

Parking – 8 volunteers needed to direct visitors where to park; keep traffic flowing smoothly and safely (age 16 and older).

Help with Faire operations – 6 volunteers needed to refill water stations, bring water + snacks to the vendors, keep dining tents clean, haul trash (volunteers can be age 13 years or older; youth volunteers must have an adult chaperone).
Monday 5/26 — Tear Down Faire
Shift Time: 6pm-9pm
8 to 10 volunteers needed
Start tear down – all tents, supplies, furniture, decorations, etc.
Tuesday 5/27 – Tear Down Faire
Shift Times: 10am-3pm OR 12 noon-5pm
10 to 15 volunteers needed
Tear down all remaining supplies and load the truck.
