In this season, colored by the animosity of a strained election cycle, we can find ourselves in a battleground state …. literally and figuratively. Let’s change the paradigm. Pennsylvania is truly significant in shaping the future, much like the larger battles we face in life. Let us reflect on how love and friendship, such as that seen between justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Anthony Scalia, transcend political differences. Their example reminds us that, despite varying views, love and respect bring unity where division often reigns. As we gather, let’s move beyond the ‘us versus them’ mindset and, instead, choose love.
