God, Your Beauty Falls in Love with Everyone

Heard during a Catholic Mass while I am on the road for a wedding, this simple recitation stays with me: “God, your beauty falls in love with everyone.” I let those words open up a prayerful way of seeing. The beauty of God is love, and God’s love reaches toward every person. We are flawed, mortal, and finite, yet the Lord gives each of us “an infinite spark” and a soul that exists through eternity. I cannot mirror that divine love perfectly, but I can choose its direction today. I ask for the grace to look outward with love and to be a reflection, however imperfect, of the love God has for everyone.
