Between Chapters

Description

Life moves in chapters. Faith gives us the plot. God is drawing everything toward heaven, teaching us to love, clearing away what blocks us, and making us the people we were created to be. It also gives us the grace to cross from one chapter to the next without getting trapped in the previous page. Swedenborg reminds us the church is not bound to one building or denomination, but is the living “heart and lungs” of the human race. A worldwide body made up of all who humbly seek to do good. That goodness, scattered across the globe yet one in spirit, forms the fabric that carries us through every transition. We can see it daily in neighbors, friends of other faiths, even strangers. And it keeps us moving forward in peace and joy, grounded in the universal church God designed to keep life alive.
