Open and Clear
8th, April 2026Description
In our little daily community, I invite you into a living practice that feels simple and stretches the soul at the same time: to be both open and clear. Clarity matters. It grounds us in what is true, in those steady convictions where we can say, “this is how I see God calling me,” while remembering that “the truth is higher than your opinion.” Yet that clarity cannot harden into something sharp or defensive. It must stay warm, receptive, willing to listen. When we come from love first, everything shifts. Even hard moments begin to open, like when anger in someone else softens as we understand where it comes from. We stop speaking at each other and begin speaking with each other. Swedenborg reminds us that truth is only alive when it is joined with love, and that we are created “not for the sake of ourselves, but for the sake of others,” a compass that keeps pointing us toward heaven in our daily interactions. So we hold onto what is clear, we refuse to weaponize it, and we stay open, trusting that in this sacred tension God builds something deeper, slower, and far more beautiful than certainty alone.
