Super Moon Faith

I welcome you into ten quiet minutes where nature teaches our hearts. This week’s super moon turns my thoughts to the Lord’s gift of correspondences, where the world and the Word share a language. When I see sunrise and sunset after my dad’s passing, something in me answers, and I hear the whisper again. The moon pictures faith. It does not shine on its own. Faith is more beautiful the more it fully reflects the love of God. Some nights bring a dark night of the soul, clouds and a thin sliver. Then the cycle returns, and light comes back. I invite us to aim for a faith that reflects love in simple acts, maybe even something playful and generous like a little “Dining for Dollars” to bless a neighbor.
