Today I’m reflecting on a truth that’s both beautifully simple and deeply transformative: that the same divine life flows through each of us. In Secrets of Heaven 2888, Swedenborg writes that “the life force in everyone… flows from the Lord alone.” That means God’s love and wisdom are constantly pouring into every soul, uniquely received but universally given. When we remember this shared source, we rediscover our common humanity, the spiritual ground we all stand on. Life gets noisy, full of debates, frustrations, traffic jams, and differences. But in those moments, we’re still free! Free to walk into any space with a mindset rooted in compassion. We’re not just a drop in the ocean, we are the ocean in a drop. Real connection starts when we choose to see others through that lens. Let’s return to that center today and meet one another with gentleness, charity, and hope.
