You Don’t Have to Have It All Figured Out

Faith grows tenderly when we stop demanding a life with every answer labeled and solved. In this morning reflection, I explore how easily we confuse faith with certainty, as though God asks us to reach “absolute 100% certified” conviction with “no questions, no problems.” Swedenborg points us toward a deeper path: faith lives with love, as “the eye of the heart,” and even angels move through seasons where doubt remains. Still, heaven keeps inviting us forward. When we fail, pessimism can sink us; when we choose goodness, doubts may linger, yet hope can rise and set us on our feet. So today we practice a braver openness. We trust that love stretches into the future, breathe and pray, and let God bring us peace, one uncertain step at a time.
