Mutual

Description

One of the fascinating additive words in spiritual language is the word “mutual.” Added onto the word love, “mutual” is not additive in terms of a transaction …. aka love has to be mutual. It is instead the word “mutual” as in it is what we all share, present in all people and all things if we are awake to it. While different traditions may interpret faith in various ways, what unites us is the call to approach one another with curiosity, kindness, and open hearts. True spiritual growth comes not through division, but through connection.
