Forgiveness then Reconciliation
18th, February 2025Description
Today, we reflect on the powerful themes of forgiveness and reconciliation. Forgiveness is something we can choose on our own, freeing our hearts from resentment. Reconciliation, however, requires both parties coming together with intention and grace. Scripture teaches us to seek peace with others before approaching God, reminding us that healing relationships is part of our spiritual journey. When we view humanity as one family, we recognize the deep need for compassion, patience, and understanding in restoring broken connections. Let’s move forward in faith, embracing the first steps of forgiveness and, where possible, opening the door to reconciliation.
