Grounded

Description

Spirituality grows strong when it reaches into ordinary life. I consider the vision of heaven and earth joined, “as in heaven, so upon the earth,” where angels inspire us and the Lord’s Divine Human shows divinity and humanity woven together. A mystic sees God everywhere, even within the challenging places, and that vision calls us out of inward preoccupation toward service, connection, and community. Today I pray for a little inspiration, let it meet my best intentions, and take one concrete action of goodwill. Carry that stillness into the world with both feet firmly planted in both worlds.
