Whos Asking?
15th, May 2025Description
Good morning, friends. Today, let’s reflect on the difference between our true self and our false self. And how our spiritual memory plays a key role in that journey. Drawing from Swedenborg’s Secrets of Heaven, we see that our true memory isn’t about facts or data; it’s about the beautiful, sacred moments that touch our souls—acts of kindness, a quiet sunrise, a deep experience of love. That’s the memory we carry into eternity. The false self, the “corporeal self,” asks, “Am I enough?” and seeks safety in externals. But the true self already is safe. It dwells in the peace of God, the divine image placed in us from creation (Genesis 1:26–27). As we learn to live from that inner core, the anxious questions fall away. We stop asking if we are loved, and begin to ask, Am I being loving? We move from surface to soul, from worry to peace, from noise to stillness. May you live this day rooted in your true self. The self that rests in God.
