Why Humility Is More Important Than Power

In our spiritual lives we discover again and again that humility carries a deeper strength than any power we try to grab. Power tries to press outward with clenched hands while humility breathes, softens the edges, and makes space for God to arrange the pattern of our days in a way that actually corresponds with the heaven already planted within us. There’s a beautiful honesty in admitting we don’t have it all figured out. Something shifts. Something loosens. A small light stirs and begins to travel outward. When we stop clashing and return to the relationship that matters most, the one with God, we start to feel that deep seed of goodness rise and move. This is where mission lives. This is where service and real vision begin. And as we allow that inmost gift to lead, even for five minutes or a single quiet breath, we discover a surprising joy in surrender and a fresh sense of being fully alive.
