How to Bring a Little Heaven to Earth

Morning, friends. Today I am sitting with this beautiful idea of harmony, the land that we really can live in, the place inside where God keeps calling us home. Swedenborg, in Secrets of Heaven 1568, describes the inner self through “good qualities, joys, and blessings.” I love that. It means God has already placed something whole and holy within us. Still, fear, worry, anger, jealousy, and old agendas can crowd the doorway.

So the work is simple, and also brave. We allow God to get that external stuff all in order, do our bit, and let the soul shine through with integrity, with no pretense and no masks. Then freedom begins to open. We listen better. We become more available to people. Joy becomes a happiness that is actually beyond self, and our blessings find their way into real life. That is harmony. That is resonance. That is trying to bring a little bit of heaven onto Earth. So today, I invite us to ask: what good qualities, what joys, what blessings want to burst forth in me now?
