A Radical Shift
26th, August 2026Description
Some shifts are more subtle. Others radical. I consider the radical shift that brings us from the heart of stone to the heart of flesh, from the false self toward the true self God creates us to become. Swedenborg teaches that love gives shape to truth, and here neighborly kindness becomes the driver for how we see, think, and respond, even while accountability still matters. When life feels like Noah’s ark in the storm, unable to steer and simply trying to stay afloat, faith becomes the eye of love. It helps us see people with compassion instead of reducing them to sides, labels, or enemies. This change takes us back to our roots, back to the original blessing, and back to the better angels of our nature.
