Follow Me: Jesus Way of Healing and Joy

It is fascinating that Jesus was so clear about his primary concern. It was not “worship me”. It was “follow me.” Jesus invites us into a way of healing. When He says, “I am the gate,” I hear an opening into a life of connection, service, and becoming more fully who God creates us to be. In the New Church tradition, faith finds its soul in charity, in the daily work of loving people and bending outward toward their good. Jesus is Emmanuel, God with us, walking alongside us and showing us the way. His enduring invitation is “Follow me,” and along that path we find fullness of joy, healing for our lives, and a deeper homecoming to the Lord.
