The Monday Morning Church
30th, April 2025Description
Today we’re diving into the idea of integrity—not just as a Sunday ideal, but as a Monday morning reality. Drawing from Secrets of Heaven 2455, we explore how faith without a life of love is empty, and how true religion is lived, not merely believed. We talk about letting love lead over being “right,” and how even something as practical as our relationship to money can reflect our spiritual priorities. I share how shifting from a mindset of spending to one of giving can open us to the Lord’s providence, and how small acts of generosity connect us more deeply with God’s love. Our faith was never meant to be parked on Sunday—it was always meant to be lived with humility, kindness, and action. When we align religion with life, we become what Swedenborg calls “finite forms of God’s love” (Secrets of Heaven 2455), humbly becoming His hands and feet in the world.
