The Truth About Other People
20th, August 2026Description
I wonder how we come to truly know another person, especially when their worst decision fills the headlines. Accountability matters. So does compassion. Swedenborg teaches that “neighborly kindness leads our thoughts to the truth,” inviting me to see people through soft eyes and remember that every face belongs to someone with a family, a history, and feet of clay. Kindness does not erase consequences. It creates space for a fuller, more honest view of another human being.
