Too Much Urgency

That interior self lives with God. It remembers the truth Teresa of Avila captured so beautifully when she said, “All will be well in all manner of well.” And when we pause long enough to ask, “What am I without all this urgency,” something gentle starts to rise. Something steady. A quiet certainty that grows when we let a moment be still. From there, peace becomes the default, and urgency returns to its rightful place as the exception.
