What to Remember When Life Feels Messy
13th, May 2026Description
Life is messy, and very few things unfold exactly the way we planned. In this reflection, I sit with the danger of turning faith into a purity code, where people become pure or impure, worthy or unworthy, and religion quietly puts us, rather than God, in the driver’s seat. Our faith calls us toward regeneration inside real life, where mixed motives, brokenness, accountability, charity, and mercy all meet. Jesus keeps softening the edges, reminding us that the church is less a museum for saints and more a hospital for sinners, a place where mercy and grace help us grow without pretending the mess is gone.
