That sacred trinity – love, wisdom, and use – gives relationships purpose beyond daily disagreements or compatibility. It’s not about fixing every issue, but about serving side by side, looking outward. Even small shared acts like volunteering at a fair or preparing a meal for those in need, shift the entire dynamic. As Swedenborg wrote, “use is the doing of good from love by means of wisdom” (Divine Love and Wisdom §241). That outward focus infuses relationships with peace and vitality. When we step into service together, we don’t just fix what’s broken…we discover what we’re really here for.
